We choose to work with licensed guides who bring both knowledge and passion to their tours.   All guides are fluent in English and we would happily spend our time with any one of them.   They are all inspirational experts in their fields.  We are proud to have them as part of the Daytrippers family!

The company we use here provides small group tours from London to Stonehenge and surrounding areas.  Led by qualified archaeologist guides, their day excursions offer the best opportunity to explore and experience some of Britain’s most iconic and significant ancient sites.  Groups are limited to 18 participants so you always have access to the guides who offer exceptional knowledge of their subject, introducing you to the way experts see and understand Britain’s historical and ancient sites.  They offer original, well-paced, imaginative and carefully balanced itineraries.

Our Rome guide company provides high quality private, personalized tours, as well as some small group tours.  Owner Giovanni and his team want you to see the complex beauty of Rome, feel the inspiration, and have fun.  Each guide has studied Classics, Art History, Archeology, or other related fields.  All of the guides are completely bi-lingual in English and Italian.  They are capable, professional and, most importantly, the kind of people you’d like to meet for a glass of wine.
Giovanni, the owner, is an archaeologist and licensed tour guide in Rome.  He formed his company in 2012 after completing his formal studies and freelancing as a guide with other companies for many years.  He is part of a research group and still participates in annual digs so his knowledge is both wide-ranging and current.  He also writes a weekly column about archaeology, history and art history for a local newspaper.

Our guide company here specializes in designing unique travel experiences through the Yucatan Peninsula and the Maya area.  Their adventures combine tours with archaeologists and the top experts in the region, swimming in private cenotes, unbelievable dining, access to lesser known archaeological sites and sustainable activities with the Mayan communities.  All of the guides are fluent in English.  In addition to day trips, they can arrange full multi-day tours, including stays in beautiful haciendas and villas, if desired.
